Hello, I'm Alija!

We are a family of four with an insatiable love for travel and adventure. Our journey began long before our children came into the picture—my husband and I were avid travelers, exploring the world together whenever we had the chance. However, like many, our travels came to a halt during the COVID pandemic, and for two years, we put our passports aside.

Now, as a family of four, we’ve reignited our passion for travel, but with a twist. Traveling with kids can be expensive, so we turned to travel hacking as a way to explore the world without breaking the bank. Through strategic use of credit card points, frequent flyer miles, and other travel hacks, we've found ways to take our children on incredible adventures without paying a fortune.

Our ultimate goal is to semi-retire in about eight years and slow travel around the globe, immersing ourselves in the cultures and cuisines of the world. But for now, we’re focused on making the most of our time by traveling as much as we can, teaching our kids about the diverse cultures, histories, and flavors that make up our world.

I created Unfading Voyages to share our travel adventures and inspire others to explore the world. Join us as we discover new destinations, try delicious foods from different countries, and find the best travel hacks to make family travel affordable and fun. We hope our stories and tips will inspire you to embark on your own unfading voyages!
